AOC announced three budget 180Hz gaming monitors

aoc-

AOC company announced the upcoming launch of sales of a series of gaming monitors AGON G2. It includes three models aimed at economical gamers, which are primarily important for the speed of response and the presence of auxiliary functions that facilitate the gaming process.

The only difference between the novelties was the screen diagonal:

AOC AGON G2 24G42E - 23.8 inches;
AOC AGON G2 25G42E - 24.5 inches;
AOC AGON G2 27G42E - 27 inches.
All three monitors are equipped with Fast IPSIn Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..matrix with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, response time - 0.5 ms (MPRT) / 1 ms (GtG), as well as coverage of 120% of the color standard sRGB and 90% of DCI-P3. The new products support HDRHDR stands for High Dynamic Range imaging, and it is an old photography practice recently introduced to cameraphones like the iPhone and some Android devices (or with the use of special apps). 10 content display, Adaptive Sync function and, according to the brand, can filter out the blue backlight spectrum harmful to the eyes.

The G-menu utility built into the monitors includes features such as fps counter, Shadow Control for better visibility and Motion Blur Reduction (MBR) to improve object clarity, as well as on-screen aiming and Game Color profiles with custom color settings for different gaming genres.

All new products are equipped with HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 connectors, and the included stand allows you to adjust the tilt of the screen. The monitors will go on sale in China by the end of February at prices of $143, $148 and $161 for the 23.8-inch, 24.5-inch and 27-inch versions, respectively.
