AOC has unveiled the AGON CS24A monitor, designed for esports athletes and gamers who spend a lot of time playing Counter-Strike 2. The highlight of this new product is its impressive refresh rate combined with a special factory preset optimized for the popular online shooter. The monitor is equipped with a 24-inch TN matrix with a refresh rate of 600 Hz (overclocked to 610 Hz), a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, and a response time of 0.5 ms GtG / 0.3 ms MPRT. The peak brightness of the backlight is 500 cd/m² in HDR ![]() The new product supports AMD FreeSync Premium technology to eliminate frame tearing, Shadow Control to improve visibility in dark areas, and Game Color to optimize image quality. The feature set also includes an on-screen crosshair and Low Input Lag mode to reduce response time. MBR+ technology (groups of backlight LEDs controlled by a separate driver) also helps reduce ghosting during fast frame changes, according to the manufacturer. Additionally, in the monitor settings, you can select a ready-made image settings preset tailored for CS2 or one of the options for other genres of games. The monitor's set of interfaces includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A hub with four connectors. The AGON PRO AG246FK6 will go on sale in Europe in September 2025 at a price of £599 (approximately ?693). |
