Overclocker Alva Jonantan from Indonesia has set a new overclocking record for AMD Ryzen 5 9600X on the first day of sales. "Budget" chip surpassed all known indicators of other solutions based on Zen 5 architecture - however, using a non-standard cooling system. During the experiment the overclocker managed to achieve a frequency of 6.999 GHz on all six CPU ![]() The test platform included an MSI MEG X670E ACE motherboard, a pair of 16GB DDR5 memory modules and a cooling system based on a "cup" for liquid nitrogen. At the end of the overclocking session AMD Ryzen 5 9600X became the absolute leader in Cinebench 2024 and Y-Cruncher PI-BBP-10B tests. |
