AMD finally confirmed the upcoming premiere of Ryzen 9000 series of processors. However, it did it without making any loud statements, in between talking about the readiness to release the new products during the communication with investors. During the recent quarterly report AMD representative said that processors based on Zen 5 architecture will be presented already this year. The manufacturer's plans for the second half of 2024 also include announcements of a new server line EPYC and mobile Ryzen family Strix Point. The latter are known to receive a powerful neural chip to accelerate tasks related to artificial intelligence. A little more details were dug up by an insider under the nickname 9550pro. In his account in social network X he shared a list of contents of the new driver for ASUS OG Crosshair X670 Hero motherboard, oriented on Ryzen 7000 processors. Almost at the very end, you can also spot a mention of the upcoming Ryzen 9000. The exact premiere date of the next generation of red chips is unknown. |
