ADATA has launched the SC740 external SSD. The company calls it the industry's first external SSD with built-in Type-C cable, fast memory and up to 2TB capacity. The cable is secured in a clip, and when folded it can be used as a loop to attach it to something. Read and write speeds are up to 1050MB/s and 1000MB/s respectively, and the capacity is up to 2TB. In addition, the novelty is protected by MIL-STD-810G 516.6, can withstand a drop from a height of almost one and a half meters, and is compatible with Android, macOS, Windows and other operating systems. The drive supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard and Apple ProRes video format used in iPhone 15 and later smartphones. This allows you to record clips directly to the SC740 and share files between devices and teams. The SC740 external SSD is available in three capacities: 500GB, 1TB and 2TB. All come with a global five-year limited warranty. |
