ADATA Legend 970 Pro Active-Cooled Drive Introduced |
|
ADATA has announced the launch of the new Legend 970 Pro SSD. PCIe Gen5 support allows for high read/write speeds, while active cooling prevents overheating and performance degradation. The Legend 970 Pro utilizes 232-layer 3D NAND flash memory. Thanks to its PCIe Gen5 x4 transfer interface, the drive achieves sequential read and write speeds of 14,000 MB/s and 11,000 MB/s respectively. Meanwhile, it is backward compatible with PCIe 4.0 and 3.0 platforms. The Legend 970 Pro also features an SLC cache and DRAM cache buffer, which improves system boot speeds and delivers random read/write speeds of 1800/1300 thousand input/output operations per second (IOPS). ADATA applies various protection and error correction technologies to significantly increase its TBW (total bytes written) and durability. LDPC error correction, TCG OPAL and other encryption technologies are utilized to ensure data transfer accuracy and file security. To protect against overheating, the drive uses a dual-layer aluminum heatsink with integrated hot and cold air ducts, while a built-in micro-fan accelerates heat dissipation. It is also the only SSD on the market with active cooling powered directly from the M.2 slot. ADATA Legend 970 Pro is available in capacities up to 4TB. The drive comes with a 5-year warranty from the manufacturer. |
