Acer unveiled new gaming monitors with up to 500Hz speeds |

Acer has expanded its Predator and Nitro gaming monitor lines with five models. Each of them is remarkable in its own way - for example, one of them supports refresh rates up to 500 Hz, and the other is able to work in two modes. The updated Predator series includes a pair of 26.5-inch monitors with QD-OLED matrices. The Predator X27U F5 supports refresh rates up to 500Hz at 2560x1440 pixel resolutions, while the Predator X27 X gets a 4K panel at 240Hz. Both monitors have support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology to prevent frame gaps. The new products will go on sale in the European market in the third quarter of this year. Aver Predator X27U F5 will cost from ?899, and Predator X27 X - from ?1099. The Nitro series has expanded to three models with support for Google Smart TV features. The Acer Nitro GA321QK P has a 31.5-inch 4K display (165Hz), while the Nitro GA341CUR W0 has a 34-inch qHD panel (240Hz). The portable variant of the Nitro PG271K features a 27-inch screen that can run in two modes: 4K @ 72Hz or 1080p @ 144Hz. Prices and sales launch dates of the Acer Nitro series have not been announced yet. |
