-benq-ma270up-

BenQ has expanded its monitor lineup with two new models: the MA270UP, optimized for Mac, and the PD2770U, equipped with a built-in hardware calibrator for photographers, videographers, and designers.

The BenQ MA270UP features a glossy UHD 4K panel with 450 nits brightness, 1200:1 contrast ratio, and 95% P3 color gamut coverage. iDevice Color Sync technology automatically synchronizes color profiles across all Mac devices for consistent and accurate color reproduction.

There is also a customizable stand with height, tilt, swivel, and 90-degree screen rotation adjustments. The set of interfaces includes a pair of HDMI outputs, two USB Type-CWith the continued success of the USB interface, there exists a need to adapt USB technology to serve newer computing platforms and devices as they trend toward smaller, thinner and lighter form-factors. Many of these newer platforms and devices are reaching a point where existing USB receptacles and plugs are inhibiting innovation, especially given the relatively large size and internal volume constraints of the Standard-A and Standard-B versions of USB connectors. ports for connection and charging, as well as a USB Type-A port and a power connector.

The BenQ MA270UP is currently available in a 27-inch version for $549, and a 32-inch model ($649) will be released in December.

The BenQ Designer PD2770U is the first monitor in the line to feature built-in hardware calibration and automated device control. The model is equipped with a 27-inch IPSIn Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..screen with 4K resolution, 400 nits peak brightness, HDR10 support, and DeltaE < 1.5 color accuracy.

It also claims to cover 99% of the Adobe RGB color gamut, 99% of DCI-P3, and 100% of Rec.709. Color accuracy is further confirmed by Pantone SkinTone and Calman Verified certifications.

The monitor features Device Management Solution, which allows you to schedule automatic calibration outside of working hours on all monitors simultaneously. The manufacturer has provided a 90W USB Type-CWith the continued success of the USB interface, there exists a need to adapt USB technology to serve newer computing platforms and devices as they trend toward smaller, thinner and lighter form-factors. Many of these newer platforms and devices are reaching a point where existing USB receptacles and plugs are inhibiting innovation, especially given the relatively large size and internal volume constraints of the Standard-A and Standard-B versions of USB connectors. port, a KVM switch, and a USB hub, while the Hotkey Puck G3 controller provides quick access to settings and image modes. The included stand allows you to adjust the screen in several directions, including height, tilt, and swivel.

The BenQ Designer PD2770U is scheduled to go on sale in November 2025 and will cost $1,699.
