Announced last year, the Xiaomi gaming monitor is now available on the international market. It is positioned as an affordable model for dynamic games and, despite its ?budget? status, provides a high refresh rate and good color accuracy.

The monitor is equipped with a 27-inch IPSIn Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, a response time of 1 ms (GtG), and a maximum refresh rate of 200 Hz. The peak brightness of the backlight in HDRHDR stands for High Dynamic Range imaging, and it is an old photography practice recently introduced to cameraphones like the iPhone and some Android devices (or with the use of special apps). mode is 400 cd/m², and the maximum typical brightness is 250 cd/m².

According to the specifications, the new product has 100% coverage of the sRGB color space (ΔE ≤) and 95% of the P3 palette. The new product supports AMD FreeSync Premium technology and is compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC, as well as flicker and blue light suppression features.

The set of interfaces is minimal: HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, and a headphone jack. The monitor is mounted on a stand with a tilt adjustment range of -5 to 15?.

The Xiaomi Gaming Monitor G27i (2026) is already on sale in Singapore for $157.
