A new monitor with the index A27Qi (2026) has appeared on Xiaomi's international website. The mid-range model is not positioned as a gaming monitor, but it is well suited for content editing thanks to its high color accuracy. The Xiaomi A27Qi (2026) is equipped with a 27-inch IPS  In Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..matrix with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels and a response time of 6 ms. The monitor has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, brightness of up to 300 cd/m², and color gamut of 95% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB (ΔE ≤ 1).According to the company, the monitor is designed to match the color accuracy of its smartphones, tablets, and laptops. This simplifies graphics and video processing within the Xiaomi ecosystem. The list of features is rounded out by a hardware blue light filter (TÜV Rheinland certified) and flicker-free backlighting. The set of interface connectors includes HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The price and release date of the Xiaomi A27Qi (2026) will be announced later. |
