Vivo announced the upcoming launch of the X300e smartphone and released some of the upcoming device's specifications. The device will feature not only high-performance hardware but also an expanded camera setup for shooting at different focal lengths without compromising image quality.

Vivo has published official renders of the smartphone and revealed some of its specifications. So far, only the battery capacity (7200 mAh) and charging power (90 W) have been confirmed, as well as the rear camera, co-developed with Zeiss.

However, insider details have already surfaced online: a flat 6.59-inch OLEDOLED technology was invented by Eastman Kodak in the early 1980s. OLED panels are made from organic (carbon based) materials that emit light when electricity is applied through them. Since OLEDs do not require a backlight and filters (unlike LCD displays), they are more efficient, simpler to make, and much thinner. OLEDs have a great picture quality - brilliant colors, fast response rate and a wide viewing angle. OLEDs can also be used to make OLED lighting - thin, efficient and without any bad metals.display with a 1.5K resolution, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, and a 50 MP front camera. The rear module is rumored to include a 50 MP primary and periscope camera, as well as an 8 MP ultra-wide camera.

Other specs include a 7.99mm thick body weighing around 203g, and an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner.

Pre-orders for the X300e are now open on vivo's Chinese website, with sales scheduled for July 27. The manufacturer has not yet announced the smartphone's price.
