Following its official announcement at MWC 2026, vivo has begun to reveal additional details about its flagship X300 Ultra camera phone. Product manager Han Boxiao has confirmed the key features of the main module, which is claimed to be the ?ultimate? solution for mobile photography. The main camera of the vivo X300 Ultra will be based on the latest Sony LYT-901 sensor with a resolution of 200 MP. Like its predecessor, the focal length will be 35 mm, which will provide a natural perspective without distortion, as in wider-angle lenses. The sensor size is 1/1.12 inches, and the effective light-gathering area per pixel has increased by more than 30% compared to the sensor in the X200 Ultra. In addition, stabilization has been improved from CIPA 5.0 to 6.5, which should help when shooting handheld and in low light conditions. The optics have also been redesigned: instead of the previous 7P scheme, a 1G + 6P configuration is used. ALD Pro coating has been added, which reduces reflections by approximately 30%, as well as additional layers to combat glare in difficult lighting conditions. According to rumors, the other cameras will also be top-notch: a 50 MP ultra-wide lens (Sony LYT-828), a 200 MP telephoto lens (Samsung HPB), a 5 MP multispectral sensor for accurate color reproduction, and a 50 MP front camera with autofocus. In addition to the smartphone, a 400 mm teleconverter with 17x optical zoom will be available. The presentation date for the vivo X300 Ultra has not yet been announced. |
