Vivo has shared fresh details about its upcoming foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold 6. Instead of the typical benchmark summaries, the manufacturer highlighted the gadget's performance characteristics, such as battery life, durability, and connectivity. Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao confirmed that the brand's upcoming flagship will feature a 7,000 mAh battery. The smartphone will be the first device in its segment to use fifth-generation silicon anodes paired with Vivo's third-generation semi-solid-state batteries. This power system, dubbed Blue Ocean, is optimized on multiple levels to deliver up to 9.8 hours of battery life under heavy hardware load. At the same time, the manufacturer confirmed the device's capabilities in extreme conditions. The vivo X Fold 6 is reported to maintain stable operation at temperatures down to -20 degrees Celsius and is also water-resistant thanks to its IPX8 and IPX9 ratings.
