Ugreen unveils magnetic smartphone cooler with RGB lighting |

Accessories brand Ugreen has released the LP1012 mobile cooler. The device is designed for gamers and bloggers who frequently experience overheating of their devices under heavy loads. The cooler contains a 36x36 mm thermoelectric element, an aluminum heat-conducting plate, cooling fins, and thermal pads. A 7-blade fan with three speed modes (2500, 4000, and 6500 RPM) is used for heat dissipation. Exhaust vents are located on the sides of the cooler to prevent hot air from reaching the user's hands. The accessory also features a small color display that shows the current temperature and the selected cooling mode. The RGB lighting supports five modes and can be turned off completely if desired. The accessory attaches to the back of your smartphone using a MagSafe magnet. For devices without this option, an adhesive magnetic ring and a physical clip are included. The cooler's base has a soft coating to prevent scratches on the device's body. The Ugreen LP1012 doesn't have a built-in battery, so it's powered via a USB-C  With the continued success of the USB interface, there exists a need to adapt USB technology to serve newer computing platforms and devices as they trend toward smaller, thinner and lighter form-factors. Many of these newer platforms and devices are reaching a point where existing USB receptacles and plugs are inhibiting innovation, especially given the relatively large size and internal volume constraints of the Standard-A and Standard-B versions of USB connectors.. port from the device itself or a power bank.
