Thunderobot has added the 27-inch JU27F160L gaming monitor to its product range. The new model supports two modes, and the installed panel covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 99% of sRGB. The monitor is based on a 4K Fast IPS  In Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..panel with a refresh rate of 160 Hz and the ability to switch to Full HD1080p (also known as Full HD or FHD and BT.709) is a set of HDTV high-definition video modes characterized by 1080 horizontal lines of vertical resolution and progressive scan, as opposed to interlaced, as is the case with the 1080i display standard. The term usually assumes a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:9, implying a resolution of 1920x1080 (2.1 megapixel) often marketed as Full HD.mode at 320 Hz. The peak brightness of the new product is about 400 nits, the response time is 1 ms (GtG), and ΔE is ≤ 2.It has a harmful blue light filter, a pair of HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 ports, and an adjustable stand with height, tilt, and swivel adjustment. The Thunderobot JU27F160L is already on sale in China for $198. |
