Thermaltake has released an ultra-wide monitor with a ?gamer? design.

Thermaltake's latest product is the TGM-V49CDQ monitor, aimed at gamers. The device features a curved VA screen with a 32:9 aspect ratio and a recognizable ?gaming? design element on the back of the case.

The 49-inch monitor screen with a resolution of 5120x1440 pixels supports a refresh rate of 240 Hz. The peak brightness of the backlight is up to 400 cd/m², the response time is 1 ms (GtG), and the color gamut is 95% of the P3 range.

The new product also supports adaptive sync with variable refresh rates and image enhancement in dark areas. To protect your eyesight, it uses technologies to suppress screen flicker and minimize excessive blue light.

The rear of the new product features HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, USB Type-CWith the continued success of the USB interface, there exists a need to adapt USB technology to serve newer computing platforms and devices as they trend toward smaller, thinner and lighter form-factors. Many of these newer platforms and devices are reaching a point where existing USB receptacles and plugs are inhibiting innovation, especially given the relatively large size and internal volume constraints of the Standard-A and Standard-B versions of USB connectors.
