TCL has added the 27P2A Ultra monitor to its lineup, designed primarily for gamers. The new model is positioned as the first gaming monitor on the market with mini-LED backlighting, capable of reaching a peak refresh rate exceeding 1000 Hz. By default, the TCL 27P2A Ultra operates in 1440p @ 550 Hz mode. An alternative set of settings includes overclocking up to 1040 Hz, but the company has not specified how the screen resolution will change in this case. Among the TCL monitor's other features are a fast response time (1 ms GtG) and a set of AI functions to improve visibility in dark areas, quickly restore contrast after a flash, and adjust the color of the on-screen crosshair based on the background. Detailed specifications, the launch date, and the price of the TCL 27P2A Ultra will be announced at a later date. |
