Samsung has released official promotional materials for its new Galaxy M17e smartphone. The device is expected to be an affordable alternative to the base Galaxy A17, with improved specs compared to its predecessor. According to official data, the new model will feature a display with a resolution of 1600x720 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The dual rear camera setup will include a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, while the front-facing camera will have an 8-megapixel resolution. A 6,000 mAh battery will power the device, fitting inside a body just 8.2 mm thick. It is also known that the device will be equipped with a Dimensity 6300 processor, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and IP54-rated protection. The manufacturer promises six major OS updates and six years of security patches. The Samsung Galaxy M17e will launch on March 17. The expected price of the smartphone in India is around $162. |
