Among other new products at CES 2026, the company presented the Galaxy Book6 series of laptops. It includes three devices: the base model and the Pro version, which have received a number of hardware improvements compared to their predecessors, as well as the Ultra model, which was absent in the previous generation.

All new models are equipped with an advanced cooling system with a volumetric evaporation chamber and upgraded fans. In addition, the company has equipped the Pro and Ultra laptops with touchpads with tactile feedback and updated keyboards.

The Samsung Galaxy Book6 Ultra will feature a 16-inch AMOLEDSuper AMOLEDAMOLED, which stands for Active Matrix OLED, is a hybrid display technology that pairs the active matrix backplane from a traditional TFT display with an OLED display. Its hardware platform is based on an Intel Core Ultra X9/X7 series processor (several options) paired with an NVIDIA GeForce graphics card up to RTX 5070.

The model's claimed battery life is up to 30 hours in video playback mode (settings not specified), while the fast charging function allows the battery to be charged to 63% in just 30 minutes. Other notable features include an advanced six-speaker sound system and a slim (15.4 mm) body.

The Galaxy Book6 Pro will be available in 14-inch and 16-inch screen sizes. Both versions will support touch input, but the exact specifications of the displays are not yet known.

One of the Intel Core Ultra X7/X5 series processors will be responsible for the laptop's performance. Like the Ultra model, it will have up to 30 hours of video playback battery life and a thickness of 11.9 mm.

The base model Galaxy Book6 will come with 14- and 16-inch screen options, but with an IPSIn Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..matrix (1920x1200 pixels, 350 cd/m²). Under the hood, there will be an Intel Core Ultra 5/7 chip with a proprietary iGPU.

All new products will support a range of neural network functions designed to simplify everyday laptop use. The launch date and prices for the upcoming Galaxy devices have not yet been announced.
