The budget Samsung Galaxy A18 4G will receive a MediaTek processor.

An unannounced Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-A185G has been spotted in the Geekbench 6 database. Judging by the company's naming scheme, the device will be released as the Galaxy A18 4G. Some of the new device's specifications have also been revealed.

According to Geekbench, the new device will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99. This same chip was used in last year's Galaxy A17 4G, meaning no performance boost is expected.
