One of AMD's new products at CES 2025 was the powerful Ryzen AI Max hybrid processors installed in ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and HP ZBook Ultra 14 G1a. As it turns out, we might never have seen them if not for Apple's success with its signature M-series chips. AMD Ryzen AI Max is a performance processor with 16 CPU  CPU is the abbreviation for central processing unit (the processor). AMD vice president Joe Macri said. At the same time, he admits that Apple has managed to convince people that a powerful PC doesn't necessarily need to include a discrete GPU. ?A lot of people in the PC industry have said: if you need graphics, it has to be discrete graphics, otherwise people will think it's bad graphics. Apple has shown that consumers don't care at all what's inside the box. In fact, they care a lot more about what that box looks like. They care about the screen, the keyboard, the mouse.
