ASUS has introduced the ROG Strix GS7 Magic Box router, aimed primarily at gamers. In addition to the original design, the novelty offers support for the current Wi-Fi standard, as well as a number of software solutions aimed at improving security and gaming experience.
Lenovo's new product is the Legion LM60 Portable Wi-Fi pocket router. And while such devices are not new, the company decided to emphasize long battery life, improved connectivity, and a gaming-oriented focus.
Wi-Fi HaLow, or IEEE 802.11ah, differs from other Wi-Fi communication standards in that it operates at less than 900 MHz, increasing its range to 2.9 kilometers. Morse Micro has unveiled the first consumer router to support such communication and explained how it differs from conventional models.
