REDMI 17 to Feature a Super-Smooth Display and a High-Capacity Battery

Details have emerged online about the yet-to-be-announced REDMI 17 smartphone. Based on the available information, it will be a fairly large device with a high-capacity battery.

According to Smartprix, the device will feature an LCD display with a high refresh rate. Most likely, this refers to the same 6.9-inch panel with Full HD+ resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate that was previously used in the REDMI 15.

The new device is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 4 series processor. The exact chip model is still unknown, but it will most likely be the new Snapdragon 4 Gen 5, unveiled a few weeks ago. The smartphone will run on HyperOS based on Android 16.

Another feature of the REDMI 17 could be a battery with a capacity of over 7,000 mAh. The main camera is expected to be 50 MP, and the front camera 8 MP. No other details are available yet.

According to insiders, the REDMI 17 will be unveiled on June 18 alongside the launch of the REDMI Turbo 5 in India.
