Following the REDMI 17 4G, information about a 5G version of the smartphone surfaced online shortly before its official launch. Details about the device were shared by 91mobiles, which published renders and a list of key technical specifications. According to the source, the REDMI 17 5G will feature a 6.9-inch IPS  In Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming).
