| Because I had not used my galaxy A16 5G for the last 2 or 3 months, I switched it on recently and when it opened the screen changed asking to insert my pin number. I did this and no action occurred. I noticed that a lock at the top of the screen was in the locked position & knowing this was an indication the phone was locked and would not open any further. I tried to switch off the phone using the method stipulated by Samsung with no success. Have the unlock codes but since the phone will switch off, I cannot proceed as the codes instruction states the phone should be switched off before proceeding. Can some one advise how I can switch off the phone. I only purchased the phone during February this year. David Simpson | ||
