I have the Sprint/Boost Mobile variant - I believe that this Root Access exploit only works on the 16gb (not the 32gb version mention in the above specs), Factory Unlocked/Network Unlocked, 2018 models - and a hint here people: look what OS version that the specs show us: the out of box Android OS version 7.1.2 - and if you don't leave it untouched and don't try updating the stock firmware - then maybe this made-for-Nougat exploit may work, my Android 8.1, updated regularly has never been exploitable - expect with the Qu1ckR00t exploit that I received the October 1st, 2019 security patch for - that's probably an exploit that would work on the ROM set and bootloader whether unlocked or not, but actually patching and updating, once again, the software libraries actually screws up your chance to root. This won't work on Android Oreo (8.0 or 8.1), because I doubt very much that LG K30s are even very exploitable since I did Network my Metro by T-Mobile version, and Kingroot told me that their was a new exploit available, but later I realized it doesn't work on any Sprint Wireless variant (and don't try Kingoroot on any of these devices it just force closes and doesn't do anything but repeatedly fail, and I've tried every variant and they all close that root APK, no matter what.) So, I am suspecting that if you want to get Face Detection on a recovery to Stock ROM - try to flash TWRP with the Stock ROM of the T-Mobile versions and variants - and then try to use the updated root permission system - Magisk, besides this method my get a Custom ROM, but uncertifies your device - that mean no system OS and Security Patches - and you are really tampering with the safety of your device because you might get unlucky, and end up bootlooping endlessly, or bricking your device - that rarely happens with a seamless root permission option that not only rarely even has a chance to brick your system - and preserves dm-verity, plus your FACE ID that is not present except in standard 8.0 or 8.1 in Smart Lock options, can be flashed in a actual exploit in itself and change the Stock ROM, while on purpose you trade one Stock Firmware for another - and since both machines inside are the same, the components have very little, if not any, difference with each other from AT&T (but only flash other 16 ROM Stock Firmware then create the custom recovery and then boot to the other carriers stock firmware to get full use out of what your carrier or version (2018 to 2019 change), plus that now flashes a new custom recovery and makes you a another carriers device, but still custom unlocked as rooting does, and your now able to actually notice that since all Sprint variants have neither NFC or Face Unlock, it now will - the only Stock Firmware for Custom Recovery TWRP flashing in recovery is only the T-Mobile variants and the 16gb factory unlocked and AT&T models - if you know how to try your 32gb Android through flashing a custom recovery with Stock ROM image and then recover it with the Stock image of the other carriers image, it is still the same specs inside mechanically, and there is very little difference - even the NFC chip is there, not in some 16gb models, but they are there if you take apart the Sprint variants and compare the schematics to the T-Mobile variants and you see that Sprint just cut the system libraries so that NFC, even though there in every version of the X410 - models and variants, so is just adding the app and setting for face recognization and unlocking, it has the exact same selfie and back cameras - actually I believe Sprint models have better cameras and screen pixel density. So, then when you go back to the 2018 T-Mobile 32gb versions stock firmware, then if you don't get confused with this outline - you'll be back to the original stock OS from the original 2018 versions from T-Mobile at Android Nougat 7.1.2 - the only way this exploit in this Root APK works.
