1. Load Xperia Companion to your computer. This can be done here www.support.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/xperia-companion/.

2. Install the application to your computer.

3. Then turn off the phone and connect the phone to the PC using the Micro USB cable.

4. Open Xperia Companion and in the main menu, select Software Repair.

5. Confirm the process by selecting the appropriate option.

6. When the next menu appears, go to FastBoot Mode.

7. Hold down the Volume button button Connect the phone to the PC using the Micro USB cable.

8. Press the next button to start the recovery operation of the factory settings.
