1. To start, turn off the phone with the POWER button.

2. Click for a few seconds and hold the Volume down and POWER key> .

3. When the HTC logo appears, release the POWER button.

4. If you see Download Mode, release the Volume down button.

5. Select reboot to bootloader using the Volume Up(+)/Down(-) keys to go through the menu items and the POWER button to confirm the selection.

6. Select boot to recovery mode using the same keys as before.

7. After the warning image is displayed, press the Volume Up(+) button and once the POWER button.

8. Select wipe data / factory reset. Use the Volume Up(+)/Down(-) keys to go through the menu items and the POWER button to confirm the selection.

9. Select Yes - Delete All User Data and press the POWER button once.

10. Select reboot system now and press the POWER button once.
