All Xiaomi phones come with an associated Mi Account that allows you to create backups including contacts, audio, video, messages, pictures, notes and more.
1. Download Mi Unlock Tool and Install on your computer.
2. Install Android SDK Platform Tools on your PC.
3. Turn off your phone. Boot your device into Recovery Mode. Press simultaneously Volume up + Power for a few seconds
4. Then connect the phone to the PC using a USB cable.
5. Open the Mi Unlock Tool program on your PC.
6. Click on the Bypass Mi Account button and the process shall now begin.
