How to soft reset Apple iPhone 4 16GB

First method:

1. Press and hold the Power and Home buttons for approximately 10 seconds.

2. When the Apple logo comes on the screen, you can release the buttons.

3. Press and hold the Power button until the Apple logo appears then release. The iPhone will start again.


Second method:

1. Press and hold the Power button until "slide to power off" appears then release.

2. Slide the Power switch right.

With the device powered off, press and hold the Power button until the Apple logo appears then release.
