The startup Pixelpaw Lab has unveiled an unusual gaming controller called Phase. The device's unique feature is its transformability: it easily converts from a gaming mouse into a gamepad. When folded, Phase can be used as a mouse, and the missing scroll wheel is replaced by a touchpad built into the left button. Inside, there is a sensor with a resolution of 16,000 dpi. Three connection modes are supported: Bluetooth By unfolding the case into two halves, the user gets a gaming controller with all the necessary controls. The developers placed the ABXY layout on the right half, while the left half features a D-pad. Additionally, each controller has a joystick, shoulder buttons, and trigger buttons. The Pixelpaw Labs Phase will cost $159, and for an additional $30, you can get a special accessory for playing on a smartphone. The launch date has not yet been announced. |
