The new NX-PFS1PRO portable SSD drive from Nextorage stands out not only for its high data transfer speeds, but also for its enhanced security and built-in screen. The idea is that this allows you to spot potential problems in time and avoid losing your personal data. The small display shows the data transfer speed, temperature, and status of the drive in real time. This information helps you spot problems in time and back up your data. At the same time, the read and write speed reaches 2 GB/s, and USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (20 Gb/s) is used for connection. In addition, support for up to 100 W of power transfer is claimed ? you can simultaneously charge your laptop and transfer files through the same port. The drive has hardware encryption and an automatic data deletion system in case of unauthorized access attempts. All authorization events are recorded in a log with the date, time, and purpose ? a kind of ?black box? for SSDs. There are several ways to unlock the drive: using a contact IC card (such as a corporate pass), a password via proprietary software, or even wireless access via a web browser if the SSD is connected to a network. What's more, you can set a ?trust zone?: for example, the drive will unlock automatically within the office. Weighing only 120 grams and with an IP54 rating, the drive can withstand drops from a height of 1.3 meters and is resistant to dust and splashes. Versions with 1, 2, 4, and 8 TB are available for purchase at prices ranging from $310 to $1,165. |
