MSI Announces a Slim Mini PC Based on Intel Core 5 with Passive Cooling

MSI's product catalog now features an unusual mini-PC, the Slim Fanless Box PC. It is equipped with powerful hardware ?packed? into a slim, fanless chassis that acts as a passive heat sink. In addition, the new model offers a decent set of ports for its size.

The MSI Slim Fanless Box PC (MS-C936) is built around a 10-core Intel Core 5 120U processor. Up to 96 GB of DDR5-5200 RAMRandom Access Memory (RAM) is the place in a computer where the operating system, application programs, and data in current use are kept so that they can be quickly reached by the computers processor. can be installed in the two SO-DIMM slots. The case measures 196 x 285 x 29 mm and weighs 2.22 kg.

Inside, there is enough space for a 2.5-inch drive bay and an M.2 slot with a PCIe Gen 4 x4 interface for a second SSD. In addition, the motherboard features a pair of M.2 (PCIe x1) connectors for peripherals. The following interfaces are located on the chassis:
