MSI celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Godlike line with the release of a special version of its flagship motherboard, the MEG X870E Godlike X Edition, which combines all of its most advanced developments. Only 1,000 units will be released worldwide, each with an individual gold-plated serial number. The motherboard design features gold accents, a large logo with the letter X, and a 3.99-inch Dynamic Dashboard III screen that displays a special animation when turned on. The set includes a numbered M.2 Frost Armor heatsink, a branded stand for displaying the motherboard, and even a black plush dragon. The board is designed for Ryzen 9000 processors and uses a 24 (110A SPS) + 2 + 1 phase power system with two 8-pin CPU Memory support includes four DDR5 slots with claimed frequencies up to 9000+ MT/s. For storage, there are five built-in M.2 slots and an additional M.2 XPANDER-Z SLIDER GEN5 card. For expansion, there are two PCIe 5.0 x16 and one PCIe 4.0 x4 slots. Cooling is provided by massive heatsinks, cross-shaped heat pipes, and an updated M.2 Frost Armor magnetic system. In terms of interfaces, everything is also up to par: 10G and 5G Ethernet, Wi-Fi In China, the MEG X870E Godlike X Edition is priced at 8,888 yuan, while in the US it retails for $1,300. |
