MSI to Release an Affordable Motherboard for Overclocking Ryzen 9000 Processors |

MSI has expanded its lineup of branded motherboards with the announcement of the MAG B850M Gaming Pro MAX. This compact mATX model supports the latest Ryzen 9000 series of processors and is equipped with an OC Engine module that enhances overclocking capabilities. The MAG B850M Gaming Pro MAX is equipped with four DIMM slots (up to 256 GB DDR5-8200) and two PCIe slots (x16 + x4). Three M.2 slots are provided for storage: Gen5 x4, Gen4 x4, and Gen4 x2. The power delivery system is configured as 8+2+1. The new model supports the EZ PCIe Release mechanism for easy graphics card removal and is equipped with Flash BIOS and Clear CMOS buttons on the rear panel. The set of interfaces includes DisplayPort 1.4, four USB Type-A ports, HDMI, and USB Type-C The MSI MAG B850M Gaming Pro MAX cooling system includes two heatsinks on the VRM and one on the chipset. The price of the new model has not yet been announced, but rumors suggest it will be under $200. |
