I own a computer with this motherboard and it currently has a 1023MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 720 (NVIDIA) gpu, I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the gpu to make it into a gaming pc

NathanMay 20, 2018
@Jonathan, I have the XPS 8700 that this motherboard came in and I had upgraded the gpu to a GTX 970 and then an AMD XFX Black Edition RX 580, so yes it can very well be a gaming pc.

SkyFebruary 18, 2019
@Jonathan i upgraded mine from a GTX 745 to a 1050 Ti. Also swapped the Processor from a Intel i7-4790 to a i7-7700. I also added a Corsair H60 Liquid cooler. So yes you are able to upgrade it.

Can this mother board work with a GEFORCE GTX 1650 GRAPHICS CARD?

trigsFebruary 05, 2021
and, can it?

BleepMarch 20, 2021
GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER confirmed works with this Dell mobo. Anyone try Crucial Ballistix DDR4 3200 RAM with this mobo? Probably bottlenecks to 1600 Mhz if it does "work".

The UEFI driver A14 was installed 05/31/2019.How do I determine if is functional?

does this motherboard have a NVMe slot.

Is this board windows 11 compatible?

RDOctober 21, 2021
I could be wrong but it does not seem to meet Windows 11 system requirements. (If you are referring to the XPS 8700 with Motherboard OKWVT8) In that it does not have a TPM (Trusted Platform Module 2.0) and the processor (i7-4790) is not supported by Windows 11 either.
