There are also plans to implement support for the Matter protocol, which enables fast connectivity between smart home devices from different brands. MediaTek notes that a key feature of the Filogic MT7903 was the Thread border router offload feature. It allows the SoC to enter a low-power sleep mode without interrupting connectivity to gadgets in the home ecosystem. Google expects the first products with the MT7903 chip to hit the market in the first half of 2025. |
