Mechrevo has released a new gaming laptop, the Aurora X 2026. It features an 18-core Intel processor, NVIDIA graphics, a 300Hz display, and a powerful cooling system.

The Mechrevo Aurora X 2026 features an IPSIn Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 300 Hz refresh rate, 500 nits of brightness, and a 2560x1600 resolution. It also boasts full DCI-P3 gamut coverage and a Delta-E value of less than 2. Performance is handled by an Intel Core Ultra 7 251HX processor, while graphics are handled by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 or RTX 5070 graphics card.

It comes with 16GB of DDR5 RAMRandom Access Memory (RAM) is the place in a computer where the operating system, application programs, and data in current use are kept so that they can be quickly reached by the computers processor. and 1TB of PCIe 4.0 storage. It also features a backlit keyboard and an 80Wh battery with 140W fast charging. All of this is cooled by three fans with two heat pipes. According to the manufacturer, they can dissipate up to 200W of heat.

The ports include three USB Type-A, two Type-C, one HDMI 2.1, Ethernet, Mini DP 2.1, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The laptop went on sale in China priced at $1,350 for the version with the RTX 5060 and $1,500 for the version with the RTX 5070.
