MAXSUN has unveiled one of the most unusual and advanced mATX motherboards based on the AM5 socket - the iCraft X870M. The new product is designed for the next generation of Ryzen processors with a TDP of up to 400W. The board is compatible with the Ryzen 7000, 8000, 9000, and next-generation processors, and the powerful 16+2+1 (50 A DrMOS) power subsystem allows even flagship Ryzen 9 9950X3D processors to run smoothly. The manufacturer claims official support for chips with a TDP of up to 300 W and an ?unlocked? ceiling of up to 400 W, which is rare in motherboards of this format. There are four DDR5 memory slots with support for up to 192 GB and overclocking up to 8400 MT/s. The board has one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and three M.2 slots, with one PCIe 5.0 x4 slot located on the back and two front slots cooled by a heatsink and PCH fan, which helps compensate for heat from other components. The rear panel has two USB 4 ports (40 Gb/s), six USB ports (5 Gb/s), and a pair of USB 2.0 ports.
