LG is preparing to release new monitors in the UltraGear evo line, which are expected to premiere at CES 2026. The updated brand catalog will include flagship models: 39GX950B, 27GM950B, and 52G930B, equipped with high-resolution screens and AI technology support. All new products will feature LG's proprietary development for the first time: AI upscaling of low-resolution content to a level close to 5K. Other AI features, including scene optimization and sound adjustment, will only be available on the 39GX950B and 27GM950B models. The LG UltraGear evo 39GX950B is a 39-inch gaming monitor with a curved OLED The LG UltraGear evo 27GM950B is positioned as the world's first 27-inch gaming monitor with 5K resolution and New mini-LED technology, designed to reduce the halo effect. The panel has 2304 local dimming zones and supports two modes (5K @ 165 Hz and qHD @ 330 Hz). The display has a response time of 1 ms (GtG) and a peak brightness of 1250 nits. The LG UltraGear evo 52G930B is the largest model in the series. It features a 52-inch display with 5K resolution, a refresh rate of 240 Hz, a curvature radius of 1000R, and VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification. The company also confirmed the launch of the UltraGear GX7 (27GX790B) on the opening day of CES 2026. Prices for the upcoming new products have not yet been announced. |
