Lenovo is preparing to unveil the ThinkPad X13 Detachable convertible laptop at the upcoming MWC 2026 exhibition. Shortly before the premiere, the new product appeared in a series of renders. Judging by the images, compared to the current ThinkPad X12 Detachable model, the bezels of the new device have become slightly narrower, and the diagonal has grown from 12.3 to 13 inches. The laptop will also feature a pair of USB Type-C Additionally, the ThinkPad X13 Detachable will be equipped with a camera with a physical privacy shutter, a fingerprint scanner next to the touchpad, and support for the Windows Hello dual authentication system. The new device will also feature a detachable magnetic keyboard that attaches to the device at a slight angle. According to insiders, the company has retained its signature TrackPoint and redesigned the stylus slot to save space. The technical specifications of the ThinkPad X13 Detachable remain unknown. The new model is expected to switch to Intel Panther Lake processors. |
