Lenovo Releases Budget Mechanical Laptop with Quiet Switches

Lenovo has added the full-size mechanical keyboard Lecoo Bellator GK101 to its lineup. This relatively affordable model features hot-swappable switches, a striking design, and a "silent" construction.

The Lenovo Lecoo Bellator GK101 features mechanical switches with a 50-gram actuation force and 4 mm of travel. The Gasket Mount design, combined with noise isolation, makes this model relatively quiet.

There are three ways to connect to a PC: wired, Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a global wireless communication standard that connects devices together over a certain distance. Think headset and phone, speaker and PC, basketball to smartphone and more., and 2.4 GHz radio via a USB receiver. The latter can be hidden in a special compartment when using other connection methods.

The keyboard supports a 1000Hz polling rate and N-Key Rollover, and the keycaps are double-molded from PBT plastic. According to the manufacturer, the new keyboard can last up to 20 days on a single charge (up to 14 hours of continuous use with backlighting). The keyboard measures 387 x 138 x 43 mm and weighs 1 kg.
