1. Keyboard shortcut keys


Keyboard shortcuts can be used to capture an image, on the Mac screen:
To take a screenshot on your MacBook, press the three Command+Shift+3 keys simultaneously.
If you want to capture a specific part of the screen press Command+Shift+4 and using the touchpad, select an area of the screen to take a screenshot of your MacBook.

2. Using Screenshot Toolbar


Your MacBook has a built-in application, the Screenshot Toolbar, and to open it, press Command+Shift+5 or type Screenshot in Launchpad on your MacBook.



At the bottom of the laptop screen you will see a panel with the following screenshot options: Capture the whole screen, Capture the selected window, Capture a selected area of your choice.
