iQOO has announced the start of pre-orders for its flagship iQOO 15T smartphone, the Pad 6 Pro tablet, and the TWS 5i wireless earbuds. Although the company has not yet revealed technical details about the devices, their designs are already visible in the official teasers.
The iQOO 15T is shown in profile in the promotional image, so the camera design can only be assessed by the level of protrusion above the back cover.
According to rumors, the smartphone will feature a 6.83-inch screen with 2K resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate, along with an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a Dimensity 9500 processor, and an 8,000 mAh battery. Other expected features include IP68 IP (or "Ingress Protection") ratings are defined in international standard EN 60529 (British BS EN 60529:1992, European IEC 60509:1989). They are used to define levels of sealing effectiveness of electrical enclosures against intrusion from foreign bodies (tools, dirt etc) and moisture. The numbers that follow IP each have a specific meaning. The first indicates the degree of protection (of people) from moving parts, as well as the protection of enclosed equipment from foreign bodies. The second defines the protection level that the enclosure enjoys from various forms of moisture (drips, sprays, submersion etc). and IP69 water and dust resistance.
The iQOO Pad 6 Pro tablet will feature a circular main camera module. Its technical specifications are also known only from insider sources: a 13.2-inch IPS In Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..display with 4K resolution, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, up to 16 GB of RAM Random Access Memory (RAM) is the place in a computer where the operating system, application programs, and data in current use are kept so that they can be quickly reached by the computers processor., and a 13,000 mAh battery with support for 90-watt fast charging.
The company has revealed a few details about the iQOO TWS 5i earbuds. Based on the teaser, they will offer up to 50 hours of battery life when charged via the included case, and audio latency in gaming mode will be just 42 ms.
The launch date and prices for the brand's new products have not yet been announced.
