HUAWEI unveils Qingyun laptop with HarmonyOS instead of Windows |

HUAWEI has announced the launch date for the Qingyun HM740 laptop, a business-class model running on the company's proprietary HarmonyOS operating system. At the same time, the company revealed the design and some technical details about the upcoming new product. The Qingyun HM740 will be unveiled in China on December 11. The model is positioned as the first corporate device in the series running HarmonyOS. The operating system version 6.0 is claimed to have ?government-level? data protection. According to promotional materials, the new product will support three neural network models for document analysis, data processing, and financial risk control. At the same time, users will be able to switch between corporate and personal workspaces without mixing their contents. The laptop will be equipped with a 2.8K resolution display, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and thin bezels. A 70 Wh battery will provide up to 20 hours of battery life.
