As the year draws to a close, Honor is preparing to unveil its latest products. The manufacturer has published a teaser dedicated to two upcoming smartphones ? the Honor 500 and 500 Pro, which finally have an exact release date. Both gadgets will be presented in China on November 24. The company has also confirmed the design of the devices with an elongated horizontal main camera module in the spirit of the iPhone Air. The technical specifications have not been officially announced, but are almost completely known thanks to insiders. The Honor 500 Pro is expected to feature a 6.55-inch display with a resolution of 2736x1264 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and an 8000 mAh battery (80W fast charging, 50W wireless charging). The smartphone's rear camera module will reportedly include a 200-megapixel main sensor and a zoom module with a 64-megapixel sensor resolution. The base Honor 500 will presumably get a similar display and battery, but without wireless charging support. The gadget's hardware platform will include a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor and 12+256 GB of memory, while the camera module will be equipped with 200 (main) and 12 MP (ultra-wide) sensors. Both smartphones will presumably be protected from dust and water according to the IP69K standard. The prices of the future new products are still unknown. |
