HUAWEI has announced the upcoming release of FreeBuds Pro 5 TWS headphones. The new product will be the first model on the market to support NearLink Audio technology, which is designed to deliver high-quality sound without loss or noticeable delays. The manufacturer claims that the new technology will ?speed up? data transfer rates to 12 Mbps. Combined with the use of the LDHC codec, this should improve sound quality and reduce latency compared to a conventional Bluetooth connection. In addition, the company claims that power consumption will be reduced by up to 40% compared to ?traditional solutions? (no examples are given). Judging by the official images, the new model will be slightly more compact than the previous generation. Among other features of the headset, the company highlights improved battery life compared to the previous version and updated noise cancellation technology. Sales of the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 5 are scheduled to start at the end of November 2025, with the price to be announced later. |
