HUAWEI's budget high-speed SSD hits the global market |

HUAWEI has refreshed its consumer SSD catalog by launching the eKitStore Xtreme 200E series outside of China. The first model of the fresh lineup is already on sale, featuring a combination of high performance and a very affordable retail price. The eKitStore Extreme 200E (NVMe, PCIe 4.0) series includes several models ranging from 512GB to 4TB. Linear read speeds of the branded drives are up to 7400MB/s, write speeds are up to 6700MB/s PCIe 4.0. The brand of memory chips is not reported, but it is known that the new products are based on QLC cells and do without DRAM-buffer. The 1TB model has already arrived on the South Korean market at a price of 47,500 won (about $32). There is no information about its availability in other markets and prices for models with other memory capacities. |
