Japan's Dynabook has unveiled the XD5, the brand's first laptop based on Qualcomm's ARM platform. The company is focusing on battery life and mobility: this is a compact 14-inch laptop weighing less than a kilogram, designed for those who need to work all day away from a power outlet. The Dynabook XD5 is powered by a Snapdragon X Plus processor with eight cores and a frequency of up to 3.4 GHz. It works in tandem with 16 GB of RAM The main feature of this model is its battery life. Dynabook promises up to 28 hours of idle time and about 16 hours of video playback. Although this is an ultrabook, the battery is removable: just detach the back cover and take it out.
