Colorful has updated its Shadow series of memory modules with DDR5 chips. The new CUDIMM modules are noteworthy for their high overclocking potential - up to an effective clock frequency of 10,000 MHz in dual-channel mode. The company revealed key details about the new products and named the date of their sales launch. The modules are sold in a 2 x 24GB kit with XMP profiles 9600/C44 at 1.5V and 9200/C46 at 1.45V. The memory is optimized for motherboards based on Intel Z890 chipset, and judging by the first tests in CPU-Z benchmark, it can be overclocked to ?honest? 5000.3 MHz (DDR5-10000). According to Colorful, even at maximum frequency the new products work at a relatively low voltage, which increases the stability of memory. The modules will go on sale on November 11, their price has not been announced yet. In addition, the company will soon release UDIMM memory in the range of frequencies from DDR5-6400 to DDR5-9600 and the volume of 16 to 48 GB. |
